Forever YA

Are you an adult that enjoys young adult and new adult books? Then this is the book club for you! Each month we will read a different YA or new adult book and discuss what we’ve read at our meeting on the fourth Friday of every month. Join us for a discussion about our first book, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas, on Friday, September 22 from 6:00 – 7:00pm

Teen Journaling Club

Did you know that journaling is good for your mental health, helping you reduce stress and anxiety? Come try it out at the EHLS’s Teen Journaling Club on Friday, September 22 from 5:00 – 6:00pm! There’s a lot of different ways to journal: bullet journaling, junk journaling, art journaling, nature journaling, etc. Whatever kind of journaling you’re interested in, you can come do it at the library! We will have a variety of supplies on hand for you to use, so come hang out, journal, and de-stress! No registration required, all teens are welcome!

Kids Write Club

Calling all young writers! Children age 8-12 are invited to join us at EHFPL on Thursday, September 21 from 2:00 – 3:00pm for some fun writing games, exercises, and challenges this summer. We will focus on imagination and creativity as the children create their own stories in a friendly and informal setting. The goal of this club is to boost self-esteem and confidence while we share the passion for reading and writing. Sign up by calling the library at 860-873-8248 or use the link below.
