Kids Summer Zoom Programs

The East Haddam Library System has a variety of programs planned for this summer, both on and off line. Here is a list of our current online programs for kids:

The Frightened Frog, July 16 from 3:00-4:00pm – Join us online to enjoy the story, The Frightened Frog, as you learn about the challenges of being a frog. Learn how to identify local frogs and toads by call and physical characteristics. We will cover ways to explore their habitats safely while protecting them and their amphibian and reptile friends.

Who Pooped in the Park?, August 11 from 3:00 – 4:00pm The series of books presented in this program helps kids learn how to identify animal droppings, tracks and other remains to know what animals have been in the area.

Pterosaurs Soar!, August 23 from 3:00 – 4:00pm – What’s the difference between a pterodactyl and a pteranodon? What was the largest pterosaur? How many kinds were there? Join us for this fun zoom program about flying dinosaurs to find out!
