Events and programs for adult library patrons
Join us on Wednesday, April 24 from 5pm – 7pm for an evening of adult paper crafting at EHFPL! Scrapbooking, cardmaking, or journaling, experienced or beginner, everyone is welcome. Bring your own projects, use the library’s supplies, or both. Meets monthly.
Take some time away from digital devices and reconnect with your friends, family, and community during East Haddam’s Unplugged Night on Friday April 19 from 6-8pm, co-sponsored by EH Youth & Family Services! EHFPL will have a variety of board games and crafts for all ages. No registration required, just drop in! We hope to see you there!
Join us at the Rathbun, on Thursday, April 18 from 6-7:30pm, to learn the basics of mending by hand, including how to patch holes, repair hems, sew buttons, dam socks, mend seams, & more at a guided workshop with sewing enthusiast Kathleen Casner. Materials and sewing kits provided. Bring your own items to repair. for ages 18+. Supplies are limited, please call the Rathbun (860-873-8210) to register.
