Events and programs for kid library patrons
Join us for EHFPL’s Kid’s Game Club on Friday, Mar. 10 from 4:30 – 6:00pm! We will play a different board, video, or card game each month. This month we will be playing Jenga. Or, if you’re not interested in the this month’s featured game, feel free to come hang out and play any of the available board games in our collection. No registration required, we hope to see you there!
The Rathbun Library has storytime every Tuesday at 10:30. It’s a fun time for parents and caregivers to bond with their little ones while instilling a love for books, libraries and to strengthen language skills. Come and join the fun. On Tuesday, 2/28 we’ll be reading about hippopotamuses and making this hippo craft! Call 860-873-8210 to sign up.
We are happy to announce we have a new Library Director and would like you to join us in welcoming Allison Murphy to the East Haddam Library System. Her first day with the libraries will be Wednesday, March 1, 2023.
Allison brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from her previous library positions, most recently as Head of Public Services and Assistant Director of E.C. Scranton Memorial Library in Madison, CT.
We are excited to have Allison join us and look forward to having our patrons meet and get to know her.
